The Birmingham Conservative Group have written as to Baroness Longfield calling on Birmingham to be included in the grooming gangs inquiry.
We owe it to all the victims of these horrific crimes and children in the city to ensure the cases in Birmingham are properly investigated and the role played by being a transport hub in the centre of country looked at.
Last year following our motion about the need for a grooming gang to Full Council Birmingham City Council agreed to order staff not to destroy any evidence before an inquiry so now that evidence needs to be put to use in the inquiry and justice prevail.
