It was a profound moment for Councillors to speak on the Srebrenica massacre that occurred 28 years ago to the day. 8,000 men women and children were massacred remorselessly over ten days of slaughter. May all our words and actions always seek to challenge intolerance and prejudice wherever we see it, and to support truth and justice. Our small contribution in our city to try and help ensure that it Genocide may truly be never again.
