Origins
CARG was originally founded as COVID against Racism Group in response to an unprecedented spike in hatecrimes against the Chinese, Asian and SE Asian communities here in Britain and across the world. A spike of 300% was registered in reported hate crimes to the police.
In response to various allegations regarding Christine Lee and the British Chinese PRoject, Alex Yip was interviewed by CARG 13th April and a summary of his interview can be found on the CARG website.
