A catastrophe of incredible proportions is about to engulf the city and not many people realise it.
It will affect every single resident in Sutton and Birmingham, every service, every future and every family- Birmingham have again discovered they owe £760m in equal pay claims- despite settling the issue in 2012.
Bear in mind the Council’s entire working budget in a year is £750m, unions have warned council about this for years, and they have in effect let the situation in 2008 carry on uncorrected- it is a huge problem that amounts to dangerous negligence, or just incompetence.
